Raising a complaint with us
Welcome to our Complaints Handling page. Your feedback is vital. This guide outlines our commitment to addressing concerns promptly, aligning with our safeguarding policy that prioritizes the well-being and safety of all individuals involved in Paper Airplanes (PA) programs.
Ways of raising a complaint
Any staff member, student, volunteer, partner, or person otherwise connected to PA’s network and its mission can raise a concern or report a case of misconduct. There are two ways available:
- Email: Reach out to Ibrahim@paper-airplanes.org for a direct and prompt response.
- Online Form: Utilize our user-friendly online complaint form available Here.
What to expect when raising a complaint
- After the incident report is submitted, the Safeguarding Officer or the Child Safeguarding Officer will have a discussion with you about the next steps.
- If the individual involved is a child (younger than 18) and it is determined that abuse has happened, Paper Airplanes will be obligated to report it.
- In all other situations, Paper Airplanes will work with the individuals involved to determine the next best steps.
Anonymity and Confidentiality
This process is crafted for accessibility, with built-in safeguards to ensure your identity is protected. Although we encourage sharing your name for effective complaint processing, you have the option to submit an anonymous complaint. Alternatively, you may choose to disclose your name to us while requesting anonymity from other parties involved in the lodged complaint.
