Kamar first joined Paper Airplanes in 2024 as an intern. After completing her six-month internship, she returned in 2025 as an English Program Facilitator. Having worked for three years with a local NGO in Syria, she developed a deep commitment to humanitarian work and saw in Paper Airplanes an opportunity to continue supporting conflict-affected communities through education. Besides her work with Paper Airplanes, she conducts research in linguistics.
