Amer Al Bej, from Damascus, Syria, has been dedicated to humanitarian and social work since 2015. He has contributed to various NGOs, supporting post-conflict communities across Syria through livelihoods, education, and case management initiatives. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Development at the University of Sussex, the world’s top-ranked institution for Development Studies. Now a valued member of the Paper Airplanes team, Amer is excited to merge his academic expertise with hands-on experience, contributing to the organization’s impactful work.
