Maria Othman - (Business Analytics 1 Course - Fall 2025)

Prioritizing Aid for Maximal Health Impact

An NGO has limited funding and wants to support countries in the direst need. This research analyzes data based on countries' child mortality, life expectancy, income, GDP, fertility, and health spending to answer the question:

How strongly do socio-economic factors versus direct health investments influence a country's health outcomes, and which factors should an NGO prioritize for effective intervention?

The target audience is NGOs, local charities, and countries which will appear in most need.

I plan to use pivot tables to summarize data and gain insights; and linear regression to determine which variable has the highest effect on health outcomes.
