Ikram was born and raised in Tunis, Tunisia. She is interested in Middle Eastern studies, migration, international cooperation, and Art and culture. She holds a bachelor's degree in English for Communication and a research master in Migration Studies: Governance, Policies, and Culture. She started as an English tutor with Paper Airplanes in 2019 and has since contributed to the organization in different capacities such as Student Coordinator in the English Program, and is now serving as a program facilitator in the Professional Skills Development (PSD) Program. Ikram is passionate about supporting vulnerbalized and conflict-affected communities to regain their agencies and rebuild their lives through educational and professional programs and artistic and cultural activities.
