Skills Demand Analysis in Syrian IT and Data Job Opportunities

This project analyzes Syrian job opportunities in the Information Technology (IT) and

Data & Analytics fields using Excel and a binary skills matrix. The dataset includes 181

job opportunities collected from Telegram job postings.

The main goal of the project is to identify the most demanded technical skills and

explore trends in job requirements. The analysis includes data visualization, pivot

tables, linear regression, and ANOVA testing.

Linear regression was used to examine the relationship between work mode and the

number of required skills, while ANOVA was applied to compare skill requirements

between IT and Data job categories.

This project helps provide useful insights for job seekers, HR professionals, and training

providers about current market demands and required competencies in Syria.
