Karenna is a first-generation American of Colombian-Turkish heritage, and is passionate about international education, cultural exchange, and migration studies. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and English at the University of Pittsburgh, after which she worked as a Caseworker with the International Rescue Committee and as a Fulbright Scholar in Türkiye. She now works as an English teacher and educational consultant in Istanbul. Karenna previously served as Paper Airplanes' English Program Manager, and is eager to tackle her new role as the Professional Skills Development (PSD) Program Manager.
